Why Can't We Just Have World Peace

What was the point of world peace in the first place? I think it was so a bunch of hippies could gather together party and smoke marijuana. The whole purpose of world peace was so people could unite and be good to each other. In the end the hippies died out one by one because they soon knew they had to get jobs and stop letting others leach off you. In the end you have to admit, even though they were hippes they really know how to party!

    I do think that hippies were trying to promote world peace. After all, you got to remember, it was during the Vietnam war. A lot of violence was occuring as protesting was going on. However, what the hippies did (smoking marijuana and engaging in a lot of unprotected sex)...they were not setting good examples to the general public. It didn't make the hippies appear serious on what they were trying to promote, which was ultimately, world peace. This is my opinion.
